Daily Road Report for Friday, July 30
Springfield Area:
- Greene County Route MM bridge over I-44: One-lane traffic. Bridge repair. Work hours: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Bolivar Area:
- Route 215 between Route 13 and Greene County Route H at Pleasant Hope: One-lane traffic. Contractor crews resurfacing road.
Hartville Area:
Ongoing Construction Projects:
- Greene County Route D at Pearson Creek and BNSF railroad bridge rehabilitation: Traffic shifted away from where crews are working. Two lanes open during the day. Lanes are 9-1/2 feet wide.
One-lane traffic possible at times during nighttime hours. Work hours: 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Speed limit on Route D is reduced to 45 mph in the work zone.
- Route 60/65 Reconstruction in Springfield: NIGHT WORK: Lane and ramp closings probable. Watch for reduced speed limit and detour signs. Narrowed lanes and traffic shifts on Route 60 and Route 65. Bridge work.
- Route 65 Six-Laning in Springfield: TRAFFIC SHIFTS: Northbound and southbound Route 65 traffic shifted toward outside shoulder at railroad bridges south of Kearney Street and south of Chestnut Expressway and at bridge over Catalpa Street. Speed limit on Route 65 may be reduced to 50 mph where crews are working
- Route B/VV Intersection Widening at Route 60 in Rogersville: NIGHT WORK: One-lane traffic on Routes B/VV. Work hours: 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday. STREET CLOSING: Redbud Street CLOSED at Route VV south of Route 60. Street closed until late July. Nighttime lane closings on Route B and/or Route VV when needed.
- Route 65 Relocation between Foose and Buffalo: New four-lane highway open to traffic.
Stop signs at new lanes and Neill Road, Kelly Road, Golf Course Road, Barnes Lane. Lane closings on Route 65 may be needed at times.
- Route 5 Shared Four-Lane (alternating passing lanes) north of Lebanon: Route 5 traffic shifted to a temporary bypass at the Laclede-Camden county line. Bypass speed limit: 45 mph
- Lake Taneycomo Bridge (Route 76/Bus. 65) Bridge Construction in Branson/Hollister:
No traffic impacts. Work Zone Speed limit: 25 mph
- Route 76 Sidewalk Ramp Project in Branson (Roark Valley Road to Sixth Street):
One westbound lane of Route 76 between Roark Valley Road west of Route 65 and Sixth Street east of Route 65. Work hours: 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday night through Friday night.
Some work may be done during daytime hours but it will not interfere with traffic.
